Mathxwí Elementary
As part of the Abbotsford School District, Mathxwí Elementary serves approximately 150 students and their families.
We want our students to see themselves represented at our school, and we want to do this work together in the spirit of Lets’emo:t, Lets’ethh’a:le ~ One heart. One mind. Lets'emo:t, Lets'eth'a:le is a Halq'emeylem phrase. Halq'emeylem is the traditional language spoken by the Stó:lō people.
Explore our website further to learn more about our school.
Éy swáyel. We acknowledge that the Abbotsford School District is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Semá:th First Nation and Mathxwí First Nation. With this, we respect the longstanding relationships that Indigenous Nations have to this land, as they are the original caretakers.
